Medtronic exec to step down; chief accounting officer named

One Medtronic exec is stepping down from the company, and a new appointment was confirmed.

Bradley Lerman, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, will retire Dec. 31, according to a June 24 SEC filing. Mr. Lerman has been part of the executive committee for more than seven years.

Jennifer Kirk was also appointed principal accounting officer, global controller and chief accounting officer. She previously worked as senior vice president of integration and value capture for Occidental Petroleum.
