The ROSA Surgical Robots are designed fro neurosurgery procedures. Here are five things to know about the technology:

 

1. Two of the systems were sold in China, which is a key driver of the Asia market. The third was sold in India.

 

2. MEDTECH is targeting the China market for growth, and there are currently seven systems sold in the country.

 

3. The India Institute of Medical Sciences purchased the system in India. The facility treats 3,000 neurosurgery patients and 1,500 trauma patients every year.

 

4. The company reported consistent sales performance in Asia, due to the success of MEDTECH’s commercial activities in market.

 

5. There are five systems sold in the United States in the past quarter, and MEDTECH reported a 179 percent increase in revenue.
