Medovex takes on several former Laser Spine Institute executives

Former executives of Laser Spine Institute of Tampa, Fla., have joined medical device company Medovex, also based in Tampa, reports Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Medovex appointed Briley Cienkosz as the chief marketing officer, Ann Miller as COO and Gary Mancini as chief relationship officer.

Laser Spine Institute, which employed just under 600 people, ceased operations on March 1 after a company statement revealed “it was unable to attract the necessary financing to undertake a Chapter 11 process and continue operations.”
