MAKO Surgical Reaches $23.7M 2Q Revenue, Up 27%

MAKO Surgical has reached second quarter revenue of $23.7 million, a 27 percent increase over the same period in 2011.

The company also reported that nine RIO systems were sold in the second quarter, increasing worldwide commercial installations to 126 and domestic commercial installations to 123. In addition, 2,590 MAKOplasty procedures performed in the second quarter, a 66 percent increase over the same period in 2011.

However, the company also reported net loss of $8,521.
