LinkSPINE receives FDA clearance for FacetLINK: 4 key points

LinkSPINE’s FacetLINK has received FDA (510)k clearance.

Here are four key points on the new device:

 

1. FacetLINK incorporated two screws and a plated cross-connector assembly to stabilize the spine following a tissue-sparing midline or microsurgical decompression.

 

2. The plate assemblies are available in numerous sizes as well as an expandable version.

 

3. It has been approved for a number of indications, such as pseudoarthrosis and failed previous fusion; spondylolisthesis; and degenerative disc disease.

 

4. LinkSPINE is a company focused developing simple and less invasive implants and techniques for spinal surgery.
