Life Spine’s lateral spine fusion implant debuted

The first surgery using Life Spine’s Prolift Lateral Helo Fixated spine system has been completed, the medical device company said in a March 8 news release.

The micro-invasive system can be used for lateral lumbar interbody fusion to provide sagittal balance and lordosis correction. 

The implant received FDA clearance in April 2021.
