Lanx Expands Corporate Facility, Appoints 5 New Leaders

Lanx, a Broomfield, Colo.-based spine device company, recently expanded its corporate facility and combined operations into a single 80,000-square-foot facility, according to a company news release.

The new facility includes expanded surgeon training and accredited device testing space and an upgraded device prototype lab. The company expanded its management team to include:

•    Wayne Chrystal joined the company as vice president of operations. He has more than 20 years of operations experience and previously served as vice president of operations at Complex Technologies.

•    Michael Hughes was appointed senior vice president of international, which leads the company’s ongoing international business expansion. He has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry and previously held positions at Biomet and Interpore Cross.

•    Pamela Snyder recently became the senior vice president of clinical and regulatory affairs. She has more than 25 years of experience in the spine and medical device industry, previously serving as director of clinical and regulatory affairs at Spineology.

•    Paul Hickey was appointed senior vice president of marketing, research and development. He has more than 20 years in the spine and medical device industry, previously holding leadership roles at Zimmer and Zimmer Spine.

•    Dana Klapper Cohen joined the company as general counsel. She has nearly two decades of legal experience to Lanx’s management team and previously served on general counsel for Bacterin.
