Spur Ridge Capital completed an investment in Axis Medical, a spinal implant and orthobiologic distributor.
Axis Medical was founded in 2014 and is a distribution partner for hospitals, surgeons and ASCs, according to a Feb. 19 news release. Through its partnership with Spur Ridge Capital, Axis will continue to operate under its existing brand.
The partnership is expected to support geographic expansion and selective acquisitions.
Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.
