K2M Launches VENADO Biologic Bone Graft System

Leesburg, Va.-based K2M has launched a bone graft system, an expansion of its biologics offering.

The VENADO Foam Strips and Granules Bone Graft systems come in various sizes and configurations to support bone regeneration. The system acts as an osteogenic stimulus after spine surgery, according to a release. The foam strips are purified fibrillar collagen and biphasic granules. The VENADO granules are hydroxypatite and beta-tricalcium phosphate for resorption, according to the release.

The VENADO system is currently available only in the United States. K2M is one of the largest privately held spinal device companies.
