InVivo’s Dr. Robert Langer Receives Innovation Award in Bioscience

InVivo Therapeutics co-founder Robert S. Langer, ScD, was recently awarded the 2011 annual Innovation Award in Bioscience from The Economist, according to a company news release.

Dr. Langer was given the award in the bioscience category for his work on controlled-release drug delivery and tissue engineering. He has authored around 1,130 articles and has more than 800 issued or pending patents.
