1. The 3D mini-optical navigation device provides measurements for cup position, leg length and offset to surgeons performing direct anterior approach total hip arthroplasty.

2. Intelligjoint Surgical scientific advisory board member Javad Parvizi, MD, of Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s department of orthopedic surgery says, “intellijoint HIP Anterior has been developed by a group of brilliant engineers with deep understanding of the steps involved in direct anterior hip replacement, which allows surgeons to integrate the device easily into their workflow.”

3. Intellijoint HIP Anterior underwent 20 FDA-cleared simulations to measure anteversion and inclination, accurately measuring them to within 0.47 degrees and 0.65 degrees, respectively, when compared compared to radiographic scans.

4. The device offers cup position measurements for supine coronal plane or anterior pelvic plane, depending on a surgeon’s preference.
