Vertebral Technologies goes global

Spinal Tech

MIS spinal implant medical device company Vertebral Technologies, Inc. of Minneapolis strengthened its presence in Northern Europe with three distribution agreements.

Here are four things to know:

1. VTI's three new distribution channel partners are Germany-based Joline GmbH & Co KG, Finland-based Articular and Sweden-based Anatomica.

2. VTI hopes to increase global awareness and access to its InterFuse implants.

3. VTI vice president of international sales Ben Wasscher said, "We believe that we have significantly upgraded the quality of our distribution network in Northern Europe, enabling VTI to better serve its existing surgeon customers as well as significantly expanding on this existing user base."

4. The InterFuse modular spinal implant is a large surface implant that can be inserted from posterior in a simple procedure that doesn't require general surgeons to gain access to the spine from the anterior.
