Integra LifeSciences to Feature Total Wrist Fusion System for Arthritis Treatment

Integra LifeSciences will feature the Total Wrist Fusion System for treating wrist arthritis at the 65th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand today in Boston, according to a company news release.

The Total Wrist Fusion System is designed to provide fixation of the wrist while decreasing soft tissue irritation and provides optimal balance of compression and stability. The device utilizes the Surfix locking and dynamic compression technologies, which allows the surgeon to fully seat the screw in the plate prior to locking it in place.

Other Integra LifeScieces products for wrist arthritis include the Universal2 total wrist implant system and the Spider limited wrist function system.
