Additionally, Integra LifeSciences reported total revenues in the full year of 2010 as $732.1 million, reflecting an increase of 7 percent over the full year of 2009. A large part of the company’s success stems from sales of its business line of solutions in orthopedics, products.
In its orthopedics business line alone, Integra LifeSciences increased its total revenues by 8 percent to $74 million in the fourth quarter of 2010 from 2009, according to the news release. The company reported a 9 percent increase in its neurosurgery business, to $74.15 million, and a 2 percent decrease in instrumentation sales to $45.91 million.
During the fourth quarter, the company received FDA 510(k) clearance for the Vu aPOD prime anterior lumbar interbody fusion device.
