Integra LifeSciences Launches New Surgical Spine Instruments

Plainsboro, N.J.-based Integra LifeSciences has introduced a new line of extended length and detachable Ruggles kerrison rongeurs, according to a news release.

The Ruggles kerrison rongeurs with the detachable feature have been cleared by the FDA. The design allows for easier cleaning and a special coating helps maintain the instrument’s sharpness.

The extended length kerrison should help address the challenges of patients with increasing body mass index, according to the release.
