IlluminOss Medical partners with Orthovative: 5 points

IlluminOss Medical recently entered into an agreement with Orthovative to distribute the IlluminOss System in Germany.

Here are five points:

 

1. Based in Germany, Orthovative focuses on the distribution of spine and orthopedic technology.

 

2. The IlluminOss System offers a simple, percutaneous surgical approach that aims to enable surgeons to create a patient-conforming implant.

 

3. The technology is intended for fracture fixation. It features a light-curable polymer, contained within a balloon catheter.

 

4. IlluminOss Medical will also exhibit its IlluminOss System at the German Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2015 in Berlin from Oct. 20 to Oct. 23.

 

5. The IlluminOss System has been used in the treatment of more than 1,000 patients in Europe, where it is commercially available.
