Greatbatch Orthopedic Line Sales Increase 34% to $39.6M

Greatbatch, maker of medical device technologies, has reported first quarter sales of $148.8 million, led by a 34 percent growth in sales for its line of orthopedic products, according to a company news release.

A detailed break-out of the company’s first quarter financial report shows its line of orthopedic products contributed approximately $39.6 million, indicating a 34 percent increase from the first quarter of last year. The increase stems from moderate orthopedic market growth, customer inventory builds and customer product launches.
