Greatbatch Medical to Construct Indiana Orthopedic Device Facility

Greatbatch Medical, a New York-based medical device manufacturing company focused on neurology, orthopedics, cardiac and vascular markets, recently invested $17.4 million to build a new orthopedic facility in Indiana, according to a report from Indiana’s NewsCenter.

The new 80,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed by 2012. The company expects to fill 67 scientist, engineering and manufacturing positions. The company currently has Indiana facilities in Columbia City, Warsaw and Indianapolis.
