Globus Medical Receives Spinal Fixation Patent

Globus Medical received a patent for its transverse fixation device for spinal fixation systems.

The company’s device is designed to eliminate the limitations of other rod fixation systems by providing two connecting bodies with a small degree of adjustability.

Globus filed for the patent Sept. 9, 2011, and was approved Dec. 24, 2013.
