Globus Medical projects 2018 sales at $712.5M: 5 notes

Globus Medical issued its preliminary 2018 fourth quarter and full-year financial results.

Five notes:

1. For the fourth quarter, the company expects sales to be approximately $195.5 million, an 11 percent increase year over year.

2. Globus Medical expects full-year sales to be approximately $712.5 million, a 12 percent hike year over year.

3. The company’s emerging technologies segment is predicted to have generated $14.8 million in the fourth quarter, a 35 percent increase year over year.

4. Within its U.S. spinal implant business, Globus Medical estimates a 9 percent increase year over year.

5. In 2019, Globus Medical predicts year-end sales will be approximately $770 million.
