Globus Medical partners to bring ExcelsiusGPS to UK hospitals

Globus Medical has partnered with the National Health Service to bring the ExcelsiusGPS robot to hospitals in the United Kingdom, the medtech company said Nov. 17.

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust first used the robot in April, according to a news release. Shortly after, in October, the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust Liverpool added the robot.

ExcelsiusGPS provides improved visualization of patient anatomy in spine and neurosurgery. It is designed to streamline workflows and lower radiation exposure.
