Globus Medical co-founder joins spine medtech board

Globus Medical co-founder Andrew Iott is among two new additions to Happe Spine’s board of directors.

Mr. Iott has 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, according to a March 28 news release. He is a named inventor on more than 100 patents and sits on other devicemaker boards, including Waypoint Orthopedics.

Steven Foster, president and CEO of Tenon Medical, also joined Happe’s board. He held past roles at Medtronic and the Danek Group.

Both of these additions come months after Happe Spine landed a $3.35 million series A funding round.
