Globus Medical CEO steps down

David Demski, CEO of Globus Medical, has resigned.

Mr. Demski was CEO 4½ years and was with Globus Medical nearly 20 years, according to an April 21 news release from the medical device company. Daniel Scavilla, chief commercial officer, replaces Mr. Demski, effective immediately.

Mr. Demski will remain with Globus Medical through June 30 to assist with the leadership transition. 

“It has been a privilege to be part of the executive leadership of Globus Medical since its inception, working with talented and dedicated team members for almost two decades to improve the lives of patients,” Mr. Demski said in the news release.
