Four things to know:
1. This is Wishbone’s third acquisition in the past six months; it acquired Response Ortho and Red Star Contract Manufacturing in November last year.
2. The CSpine acquisition offers the opportunity for WishBone to break into a key market area in orthopedics: children with spinal deformities.
3. CSpine will operate under the new name of Red Star Medical Solutions and will make implants onsite that will be combined and sterile packed with disposable instruments.
4. WishBone’s primary goal is to produce innovative surgical solutions for pediatric spinal deformities to be packaged in sterile, single-use disposable kits.
