Former Smith & Nephew Executive Becomes President, CEO of AngioDynamics

Former executive at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics Joseph DeVivo has become the president and CEO of AngioDynamics, a minimally invasive medical device company focusing on vascular surgery, according to an AngioDynamics news release.

During his time with Smith & Nephew, Mr. DeVivo led the $2 billion orthopedic business and has experience launching products such as the Visionaire and Verilast. Mr. DeVivo also served as the president and CEO of RITA Medical Systems, which AngioDynamics acquired in 2006.
