Former Medtronic spine exec joins Inspire Medical Systems

Carlton Weatherby, who was vice president and general manager of Medtronic’s spine and biologics business, is now Inspire Medical System’s chief strategy officer.

Mr. Weatherby has more than 15 years of experience in the medical device industry, according to a July 24 news release. He began working at Medtronic in 2011 and stepped into the spine leadership role in 2021, according to his LinkedIn page.

Inspire Medical Systems focuses on minimally invasive care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
