Former Medtronic exec joins orthopedic tech company

A former executive of Medtronic’s spine business was named CEO of Corin Group, an orthopedic technology company.

Jacob Paul worked as senior vice president of Medtronic’s cranial and spinal technologies business. He held that role for 19 months and held several more roles at Medtronic for almost 20 years, according to his Linkedin.

“I am really excited to be joining Corin, which has developed some truly innovative technologies and data analytics tools to help surgeons and hospitals improve outcomes for patients,” Mr. Paul said in a Sept. 9 news release. “We have a great opportunity to bring these developments to more surgeons and hospitals,improving patients’ return to quality of life around the world.”
