FDA Grants 510(k) Clearance to SterEOS Spine Imaging System

The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to EOS Imaging for its updated sterEOS 3-D imaging software.

The improved sterEOS provides a 3-D model of the spine and lower limbs for diagnosis and surgical planning, according to the release. The system can measure hip implant component position, as well as modeling of severe scoliosis.
