The Planmed Verity is intended for 3D X-ray imaging to find subtle extremity fractures, which typically aren’t shown on 2D radiographs. The system is also designed to use a lower dose of radiation with for weight-bearing imaging of the extremities.
The imaging machines adapts to the patient with anatomy-specific imaging programs, movements and carbon-fiber positioning trays, according to the release.
