Exactech introduces new solutions: 6 things to know

For their 30th anniversary, developer and restoration device producer Exactech rolled out a line-up of new innovations at this year’s AAOS. Here are the top six things to know:

  • ExactechGPS Guided Personalized Surgery will offer personalized workflow options for reproducibility and efficiency in total knee arthroplasty, and is surgeon-controlled through a compact, stand-alone system.
  • Opetrak Logic Poroyus is a new cementless fixation solution for total knee arthroplasty.
  • The Exactech Hip portfolio now includes Alteon Tapered Wedge Femoral Stem, the Alteon Neck Preserving Femoral Stem and InteGrip, a three-dimensional, porous ingrowth material for acetabular cups in revision and complex primary procedures.
  • The Posterior Augment Cage Glenoid, designed to provide immediate fixation for anatomic TSA, and the Superior/Posterior Augment Baseplate, new augment designed to correct for superior and posterior wear during challenging reverse procedures, join the Equinoxe Shoulder System.
  • The Exactech InterSpace hip, knee and shoulder spacers are used in two-stage infected revision procedures.
  • Optecure is an engineered bone graft for reconstruction of the spine, pelvis and extremities.
