EF Precision Group Receives Patent for Orthopedic Mallet Assembly

The EF Precision Group, a Willow Grove, Pa.-based company, has received a patent for the assembly of an orthopedic mallet being used in hospitals and orthopedic clinics, according to a company news release.

The patent includes the assembly of the medical device, which is designed to withstand impact during orthopedic procedures. The mallet weighs two pounds and is made with a stainless steel head and aluminum handle. The mallet is designed to eliminate the shock and vibration that could lead to breakage during use.
