Dr. Paul Sawin Performs First Spine Surgery With PCM Cervical Disc

The first patient has been treated with PCM Cervical Disc surgery from NuVasive, a minimally invasive spine device company.

Paul Sawin, MD, performed the surgery. NuVasive received FDA approval for the device in October.

The PCM Cervical Disc is for adult patients for reconstruction of degenerated cervical discs.
