Here are four highlights:
1. Nicholas Theodore, MD, director of the Baltimore-based John Hopkins Neurosurgical Spine Center, will offer an oral platform presentation called, “High AIS Grade Conversion Rate Following Neuro-Spinal Scaffold Implantation in Acute Thoracic Complete AIS A Spinal Cord Injury (SCI): Potential Mechanisms,” at the meeting.
2. InVivo will also host a steering committee meeting and an exhibitor booth at the annual meeting.
3. InVivo’s INSPIRE study tests the Neuro-Spinal Scaffold’s efficacy and safety for complete thoracic AIS A spinal cord injury.
4. In August, a fifth patient implanted with Cambridge, Mass.-based InVivo Therapeutics’ Neuro-Spinal Scaffold in the INSPIRE study had improved from a complete AIS A spinal cord injury to an incomplete AIS B spinal cord injury.
