Dr. Neel Anand Performs Lower Back Surgery Using iFuse System

Neel Anand, MD, director of orthopedic spine surgery at The Spine Centers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, recently performed lower back surgery using SI-BONE’s new iFuse implant system, according to a news release.

The iFuse system is intended for the fixation of large bones and large bone fragments of the pelvis for conditions that include SI joint disruptions and degenerative sacroiliitis. The minimally invasive procedure uses titanium implants coated with a porous plasma spray designed to decrease the implant motion.
