Dr. Andrew Cappuccino to Head Lanx’s New Surgeon Advisory Board

Lanx, a Broomfield, Colo.-based spine device company, has formed the Surgeon Advisory Board, which will be chaired by Andrew Cappuccino, MD, of Buffalo Spine Surgery in Lockport, N.Y., according to a Lanx news release.

The board will include neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons from around the world to provide guidance on product commercialization, clinical studies and surgeon training. Dr. Cappuccino has previous experience in leadership roles with North American Spine Society and Society of Lateral Access Spine Surgeons.

Dr. Cappuccino was also instrumental in developing Spine Arthroplasty Society’s Guidelines for Spinal Arthroplasty and has published several articles on clinical spinal care.
