The Empowr Dual Mobility system comes with one tray of instrumentation and aids in joint stability. It has a robust locking system designed to enhance corrosion resistance.

“What impressed me the most is how easy it is to confirm accurate liner seating, which gives me added confidence and peace of mind,” James Browne, MD, one of the first surgeons to use the implant. “The star of the system is the instrumentation, especially the head assembly fixture, which has my scrub techs and surgical staff fighting to use it.”

DJO presented the technology at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2021 Annual meeting.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
