According to the agreement, the two companies will leverage one another’s product portfolios and increase product offerings to better serve their respective customers. Initiated in 2009, the agreement allowed DJO Surgical to launch the first Lima product in the United States in 2010. The same year, Lima launched two DJO knee products in the European market.

Under the new expanded agreement, DJO Surgical will become the exclusive distributor for Lima Trabecular Titanium acetabular products, pending FDA approval.
