DJO Global Deal to Bring Exos Thermoformable Bracing Technology to America

DJO Global has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Exos to sell the company’s upper extremities products and incorporate its thermoformable polymer technology into American markets, according to a DJO Global report.

The exact terms of the agreement, which commences on Oct. 1, were not disclosed. Exos is a medical device company focused on developing a thermoformable external musculoskeletal stabilization system, for which it has field U.S. patent applications. The bracing system provides waterproof, removable, adjustable and reformable braces for patients with fractures and other injuries requiring stabilization.
