DiFusion CleanFUZE Clinical Trials Demonstrate Positive Outcomes

In vivo and in vitro clinical tests of DiFusion’s CleanFUZE demonstrate that the technology resists surgical infection and promotes bone growth.

CleanFUZE is a new load-bearing polymer from which any orthopedic or dental implant can be engineered. Clinical tests show that the biomaterial eliminates 99.9 percent of MRSA bacterium while prevention biofilm adhesion.

The technology will be introduced in the European Union in 2013 with subsequent FDA clearance in 2014.
