DePuy Wins Patent for Spine Cage Instruments

DePuy Spine was awarded a patent for instruments within its expandable corpectomy spinal fusion cage, according to an Equities report.

The instruments include an inserter/expander having both a rapid expansion mechanism and a fine tuning expansion mechanism. The instrument set was developed by five inventors.
