Here are four thins to know:
1. DePuy Synthes is contracted to supply up to $260 million worth of orthopedic products to the Defense Logistics Agency’s electronic catalog of medical products. The products would be delivered to U.S. military medical treatments worldwide.
2. The one-year contract has an option for three additional one-year coverage periods, with a completion date of April 27, 2022.
3. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies are all covered under the contract.
4. The ECAT system creates a more efficient way for facilities to purchase the products online and allows the company to deliver products efficiently.
