DePuy Synthes Companies signed an exclusive worldwide sales agreement with Radlink, a provider of advanced medical imaging technology.

Here are four key points:

 

•    The agreement gives DePuy Synthes Companies exclusive rights to market the Radlink Galileo Positioning System featuring Surgeon’s Checklist for use with DePuy Synthes Companies’ hip replacement systems.
•    The GPS provides surgeons with real-time intraoperative imaging and navigation.
•    This is DePuy Synthes Companies’ second agreement in less than a year.
•    The company signed an agreement with Blue Belt Technologies, which resulted in the first clinical use of the Navio surgical system with DePuy Synthes Companies’ SIGMA High Performance Partial Unicondylar Knee.
