DePuy Synthes Launches MatrixRIB System for Less Invasive Rib Fracture Surgery

DePuy Synthes CMF launched new instrumentation designed for less invasive surgical fixation and stabilization of rib fractures with the company’s MatrixRIB System.

The MatrixRIB Minimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis instrumentation gives surgeons access to rib fractures through small incisions, including difficult to reach sub-scapula rib fractures. The instruments include a trocar, threaded reduction tool with self-drilling tip and 90 degree screwdriver with drilling capability.
