DePuy Spine Launches Neuromuscular Scoliosis System

DePuy Spine has launched the EXPEDIUM Neuromuscular System to address spinal and pelvic deformity in patients with neuromuscular scoliosis, according to a DePuy news release.

The modular system includes pre-contoured rods and proximal connectors as well as open and closed iliac screw designs and wires. The new equipment is allows for easy fixation to the pelvis without intra-operative modification of implants or complex rod bending.
