The device, which is completely radiolucent and knotless, is designed to allow sutures to be affixed without knot-tying as well as eliminate the need to pre-awl a pilot hole.
The Versalok Peek will not interfere with MRI scans. Additionally, the device has two mid-body wings designed for increased fixation in cancellous bone.
