This is the third season DePuy Mitek has been the exclusive Mobile Health and Fitness Provider of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour. The device company sponsors fitness trailers where TOUR players can focus on pre-game and post-tournament workouts, exercise and physical therapy. The sponsorship aims to educate golfers and patients on keeping their knees pain free and to raise awareness of ORTHOVISC, a non-surgical treatment for knee pain associated with osteoarthritis.

In addition to the fitness trailers, DePuy Mitek is offering educational materials and resources to fans at several PGA TOUR events about specific joint health concerns, prevention and treatment strategies. This year the exhibition booths will also feature the ORTHOVISC PGA TOUR Player Charity Program, where fans can view information about an enrolled player’s charity and then send him a personal “shout out” or text message. The player with the most “shout outs” at the end of the season will be awarded $25,000 for his designated charity.

Notable players include John Daly, Justin Hicks and Lucas Glover, whose charities include the Boys and Girls Club, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and the Tiger Golf Gathering, respectively.
