David Floyd Named Group President of Orthopedics at Stryker

David Floyd was named group president of orthopedics at Stryker, effective Nov. 15.

This orthopedics division includes the company’s reconstructive, trauma and extremities, joint preservation, orthobiologics and performance solutions businesses. In addition to this role, Mr. Floyd will take on responsibility for Stryker’s spine division, effective Jan. 1, 2013.

Mr. Floyd has 25 years of experience in the medical technology and orthopedics industry. He joins Stryker from OrthoWorx, where he served as CEO.
