Dallen Medical’s Disposable Version of Small Bone Fixation System Receives 510(k) FDA Clearance

Dallen Medical announced 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a disposable version of its Compressyn Staple Delivery System for small bone fixation.

The company’s Compressyn system features a proprietary, stainless steel staple that springs into position upon delivery, providing active tension that creates strong, consistent compression. The disposable system was created in response to demand from clinicians for a less expensive system.
