Curiteva gets FDA clearance for Inspire lumbar interbody system

Curiteva’s Inspired 3D-printed lumbar interbody fusion system earned FDA 510(k) clearance, the devicemaker said Jan. 22.

The Inspire lumbar interbody fusion system can be used in anterior, transforaminal, posterior and lateral approaches, according to a news release. The Inspired platform is made with Curiteva’s proprietary Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printer. 

This is the company’s second FDA-cleared 3D-printed PEEK implant with HAFuse. The Inspire Trabecular PEEK cervical interbody fusion system earned thhe FDA nod in 2023.
