Strong growth for the first half of 2012 was driven principally by the new hip portfolio and with the introduction of the new Unity total knee system. The hip portfolio grew by 37 percent on a constant currency basis, while Corin Group’s knee and other products fell 5 percent and 17 percent, respectively.
